JELEEL! confirms that he's okay following brutal Nitro Circus accident

On Sunday (Oct. 29), JELEEL! made an appearance at a Nitro Circus event at Anaheim, CA’s Honda Center. During the extreme sports celebration, the Rhode Island star attempted to ride a tricycle down a 40-foot ramp and crashed on the ground after veering off to the side. As fan-recorded footage revealed, he laid still in the moments after, worrying those who witnessed what took place.
Later that evening, JELEEL! took to social media to reveal that he is doing fine. “I’m good y’all! Appreciate everyone’s concerns, walked out the hospital with a few stitches! Alhumdullilah!” he said on Instagram while sharing a photo showcasing his injuries. “Y’all know I’m a superhero. C’mon now,” he added in the post’s comments, which contained responses from peers like Jay Critch, MadeinTYO, Lil Gnar, and Tkay Maidza.
Back in May, JELEEL! liberated his debut LP, REAL RAW!, which consisted of 17 songs with appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Denzel Curry, and Chow Lee. FNZ, Motif Alumni, FAXONLY, Tim Randolph, 1st Class, and more handled the project’s overall production. Since then, he’s continued his momentum with high-energy singles like “HANDS UP!,” “WAHALA!,” and “GFU!,” all of which are expected to appear on a deluxe edition of the aforementioned album.
In an interview with GRAMMY.com, the 10K Projects-signed artist spoke on the intention behind the well-received body of work. “REAL RAW! is real, raw energy. JELEEL! has no additives. I don’t need anything to feel complete. I’m high off life. I don’t need to do any drugs; I don’t need to sell out to be someone. I’m real, and I’m raw,” he explained. “The album is showing different sides of JELEEL! — his heritage, his culture, his life. That’s basically what I want to present to the world. I want them to see that there’s no filter. I’m opening my heart to everybody.”
