Jeff Sessions Impressions and Jokes Take Over Late Night
On Tuesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions went in front of the Senate intelligence committee, to testify about the Russia investigation, and by Tuesday evening, late night hosts were ready to pounce on him for that performance.
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show With James Corden, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night With Seth Meyers all got in on the action. Corden showed photos comparing Sessions to a Keebler Elf, the Boss Baby, and a potato, while Fallon took aim at Sessions’s refusal to answer questions during his testimony. SNL star Kate McKinnon even stopped by Late Night to show off her Sessions impressions for Seth Meyers.
