Report: Jazz C Rudy Gobert diagnosed with sprained MCL, will have MRI Saturday
Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert had to be helped to the locker room after suffering a left knee inury during Friday’s matchup against the Boston Celtics. He will not return to the game.
The initial diagnosis is reportedly a sprained MCL, though the big man has not yet undergone an MRI, which is scheduled for Saturday.

He suffered the injury during a fight for a rebound in the post in a play that ended with teammate Derrick Favors falling into him.

Gobert recently returned to the court after missing 11 games with a bone bruise in his right knee.
