Jay Allen and Kylie Morgan are celebrating one year together!

The country singers — who tied the knot on Nov. 27, 2022 after their nuptials were postponed a month due to Hurricane Ian — marked their marriage milestone with a trip to Maui, Hawaii, where they both performed to raise money for wildfire relief.

Morgan, 28, surprised Allen, 37, with the special trip, which holds a major significance for both of them.

“After [losing] my childhood home in a tornado over 20 years ago & then Jay and I having to postpone our wedding last year after hurricane Ian destroying so many of our close friends homes in Fort Myers, natural disaster relief is very close to our hearts and on the forefront of our minds very often,” Morgan shared in an Instagram post last week.

“We are so honored to spend our anniversary doing what we love, with the one we love & all for victims who have lost so much in this dream destination,” she wrote. “Huge thank you to @ritzcarltonkapalua & @renateevents for making this anniversary dream come true. We will see you soon, Maui.”

On Monday, Allen also shared an anniversary post on Instagram. Alongside photos of their Fort Myers, Florida wedding and a selfie from their Hawaii getaway, the singer penned a sweet tribute to his wife.

Kylie Morgan and Jay Allen celebrated one year of marriage on Nov. 27, 2023.

“1 YEAR MARRIED. Happy Anniversary to my stunningly beautiful, wild and free, sushi and wine loving, mermaid cowgirl,” he began.

“I remember being 17 years old and going through my first break-up (which we all think is the end of the world),” he wrote. “Young me was so annoyingly devastated, all I could do was shake my fists at the sky with tears in my eyes. That night seems like forever ago, but I vividly remember begging God to bring me a wife one day that would never let me feel that way again."

“Fast forward 20 years (damn, I’m old), I’m so eternally thankful to say He heard me… because, in His timing, my prayers have been answered and then some. Kylie Morgan Allen, you are my real-life dream girl," he continued.

Allen added, “Thank you for loving me and letting me love you. Thank you for guarding my heart and allowing me to protect yours. Thank you for kicking my stubborn ass sometimes and challenging me to be the best version of myself. And thank you for hearing me when I fight for you as well."

"This morning I woke up to you in Hawaii. I’ve loved these last few days with you in paradise, but I honestly don’t care where we wake up, as long as it’s together,” he wrote. “12 months down, and because I know how God likes to answer prayers, cheers to an eternity more.”

The former Voice contestant ended his message to the “If He Wanted to He Would" singer, “I LOVE YOU, MY BRIDE,” and added “#TilDeath” — a very important phrase to the couple.

At their wedding, Allen and Morgan had an onsite tattoo station and after saying “I do” themselves, got matching ink – an upside-down triangle adorned with the words, “Til Death.” The shape, which symbolized their love story, was a motif throughout their nuptials and reception, and the phrase is also engraved in Allen’s wedding ring.

“Crying on a boat now 🥹,” Morgan commented on Allen’s tribute. “I love you. So. Dang. Much.”

The country singers’ wedding was a long-time coming for the couple, who first crossed paths eight years ago at a songwriter mixer in Nashville.

"I was the girl who swore she would never get married because I was already married to my dreams," Morgan told PEOPLE ahead of her nuptials last year. "Being an independent woman pursuing her dreams, I always felt as if I had to apologize or dim my ambition for the sake of my relationships. With Jay, I never had to explain myself, apologize, or pull back from my goals.”

“He supported my independence all while standing next to me as my biggest supporter,” she added.
