Jax Taylor, who, along with wife Brittany Cartwright, will be starring in the upcoming Bravo series The Valley, is shutting down rumors that he and his other half are headed for Splitsville.
The Vanderpump Rules alum — no stranger to being the center of many a-cheating scandal during his time with the Emmy-nominated series — took to social media to quash rumors that he and Brittany were no longer an item. Jax sharply responded to fans commenting on his social media, including on a February 19, 2024 post showing Jax and Tom Schwartz having “one of the best times” in Montreal, Quebec.

Jax seemed fed up after users questioned his marriage with Brittany after a Canadian vacation with Tom Schwartz. He denied he and Brittany split up in an Instagram exchange.
One user asked him: “Everything OK with you and Brittany, Jax?”
“Everything’s great,” Jax responded. “I am allowed to travel for work.”
One day earlier, Jax posted a photo of himself dining in Montreal, with another commenting: “Is him [and] Brittany not together anymore?”
“Why would you say that?” Jax responded with a rolling eyes emoji. “I can’t take a trip without my wife for work.”

Another commenter claimed YouTube star Adam Newell of the Up and Adam! podcast allegedJax and Brittany had split, which the host published on Feb. 20, 2024. Newell addressed rumors that neither one lived in the same home and that they only maintained their podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, due to financial obligations.

“Wow, after everything that happened, seriously,” Jax responded to the Instagram comment.
Why are there rumors Jax and Brittany broke up?
Newell clarified on his YouTube page that he only addressed rumors and hadn’t generated any of his own. He also pointed to a TikTok video that has amassed more than 1.5 million views, showing a now-deleted photo of Jax cheek-to-cheek with his reported publicist while in Montreal.
“If my husband ever shows up on the internet in a photo with his publicist looking this cute together?” said the TikTok user before making the sign of the cross. “Just start saying prayers for everyone involved. Just start saying them … just start saying them.

The TikTok user returned to the platform, accusing Jax of deleting the photo. But others came to Jax’s defense, saying Jax didn’t delete the missing photo, but rather, it disappeared after 24 hours because it was an Instagram Story.
In his most recent IG post, on Feb. 20, 2024, Jax posted a clip of him and Brittany on their When Reality Hits podcast, discussing Jax’s invitation to Power Slap. The pair are seen laughing and making jokes, showing no indication of trouble in paradise.
Katie Maloney Reacts to Jax and Brittany Split Rumors
On Feb. 18, 2024, Katie Maloney dazzled on the red carpet to attend the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, where Vanderpump Rules — now in its 11th season — was thrice nominated for Show of the Year, Reality Show of the Year, and with Ariana Madix up for Reality TV Star of the Year.
Speaking with Access Hollywood, Katie promised “things heat up” this season, touching on the fractured friendship between Ariana and Katie’s ex-husband, Tom Schwartz. However, she appeared surprised when asked by the interviewer about Jax and Brittany’s rumored separation.
“I did not know,” Katie said of her former castmates. “I did not know that, but wow. OK.”
Katie and the host acknowledged that the rumors were “alleged,” to which Katie responded with: “Who knows?”
She added news of the gossiped-about tidbit was “interesting.”
Jax and Brittany tied the knot in June 2019 before welcoming a son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, in April 2021. The parents are set to join former Vanderpump Rules O.G., Kristen Doute, and friends in The Valley “as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley, all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships and feisty friendships,” according to the show’s bio.
The Valley is scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2024.
