Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright knew how to make Vanderpump Rules fans tune into The Valley, whether they wanted to or not. The key was stirring up drama. The controversial couple kicked off the debut season of their new show with a breakup scandal. After four years and one kid together, they announced their separation.

Despite living separately from each other, Jax and Brittany are apparently going to reunite in a major way this weekend. Considering they work together and share a child, it’s clear that Brittany and Jax have still seen one another since their big news.

However, when it comes to stepping out in the public eye, The Valley stars are about to make a significant statement about their relationship.

Announced by Daily Mail, Jax and Brittany will attend the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on April 27. The news outlet invited The Valley stars as guests of the event, but it’s unclear whether they’ll be showing up as romantic partners, or just dinner buddies.

Even though there is undeniable tension between Jax and Brittany at this time, they both seemed equally excited to attend the star-studded event.

“Really looking forward to attending the White House Correspondents Dinner,” Jax said. “This will definitely be a highlight of my life and an incredible evening.” Brittany gave a similarly basic answer about how honored she was to be a guest of the prestigious event.

“I’m honored to have been invited to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner! This will be an unforgettable night and I’m so excited to be attending alongside so many amazing people,” she added.

Interestingly, neither person mentioned their soon-to-be ex-spouse attending the event alongside them. But this is Bravo, and we can never say never about any potential outcome for these two.

The Valley continues Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
