Will Jax Return To The 'Sons Of Anarchy' Universe With A 'Mayans M.C.' Flashback?

One storytelling device that we never saw "Sons of Anarchy" use was flashbacks. Everything on the show happened in present day.

But "Mayans M.C.," the "SoA" spinoff, isn't afraid of flashbacks, as it showed in season 1 when Katey Sagal reprised her role as Gemma Teller.

With season 2 of "Mayans" about to premiere on September 3, people are wondering who else fans might see in flashbacks. And could one of those characters be Jax?

Emilio Rivera, who plays Marcus Alverez on both "Sons" and "Mayans," said this about Charlie Hunnam coming back to play Jax:

"That would be really cool to work with Charlie again. That'd be great. I love Charlie, man. I don't see why that couldn't happen. Because they're doing flashbacks already; I mean, they have had them. On Sons, we never had a flashback. I don't think Kurt liked the flashbacks, but now we're putting them in."

With Jax having died in the final episode of "Sons of Anarchy," it's obvious the only way he could make a cameo would be in a flashback.

Season 1 of "Mayans" saw several other still-living characters make appearances. Happy (David Labrava), Chucky (Michael Ornstein), Lincoln Potter (Ray McKinnon), and Les Packer (Robert Patrick) were all seen in various episodes.
