Jason Sudeikis and Stephen Colbert Write Song for Average NCAA Basketball Players

CBS runs a "One Shining Moment" highlights montage of the NCAA Basketball Tournament annually but this year The Late Show with Stephen Colbert thought they would do something different. Stephen Colbert and guest Jason Sudeikis sang about the average plays and average players. The two performed a duet, singing lyrics like, "Chest passes, bounces passes, other types of passes, impressed that the bench held all of your asses." They also took a little time to honor South Carolina's mascot, the Gamecock, by shouting "cock" repeatedly. Near the end of the video the two comedic actors also took a little time to poke fun at famous sports announcer Verne Lundquist. Lundquist was hit in the face by a basketball during an on-air taping. The song was a fun way honor the kids who were there to support their team even though they may not be superstars.
