Jason Sudeikis' Is Reportedly Keeping Things Casual in New Romance With Elsie Hewitt

Jason Sudeikis hasn’t said much about his dating life after splitting with Olivia Wilde in 2020. He’s tried to keep any speculation out of the press, but that might be a hard thing to do now that sources close to him, and rumored girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, are talking — and they gave a surprising relationship status update.

The insider told Life & Style that the duo have been dating “for a few months” and while the Ted Lasso star is reportedly “smitten” with the up-and-coming actress, their situationship sounds rather casual. “He thinks Elsie’s gorgeous, and she makes him laugh and gives him what he needs right now, which is a little fun and amusement,” they added.

One thing that might be holding them back from a full commitment is their 21-year age gap — Sudeikis is 48 and Hewitt is 27. So, it sounds like they are enjoying the nightlife of LA and having a good time together, but neither of them are “into anything too serious either.” The source added, “She’s easygoing and knows the cool places in L.A. and Jason’s happy to tag along. They see each other when they can.”

Hewitt is best known for her roles in Teenage Badass and Turnt, along with being named Playboy Magazine‘s Miss June 2017. She dated Ryan Phillippe for three months that same year, but the relationship ended with a $1 million assault and battery lawsuit. She claimed the actor attacked her while he was “drunk and high,” which Phillippe denied. The case was settled out of court in 2019, per the Daily News.

Sudeikis and Hewitt were first spotted in mid-January after a night out at Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood. The paparazzi caught them by valet engaging in just a little bit of PDA with a warm hug as she nuzzled him in closely to her face. They’ve reportedly been a thing since last summer after being introduced by mutual friends, but Sudeikis and Hewitt seem to be on the same page to keep it mutually casual.
