Jason Sklar Joins Shamrock Capital Advisors
Jason Sklar is joining Shamrock Capital Advisors as a managing director, the private equity firm announced Tuesday. He will focus on media and entertainment sectors with an emphasis on content investments.
Sklar comes from J.P. Morgan’s Entertainment Industries Group, where he raised and managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio specifically for entertainment, television, music and media distribution companies.
“Jason’s in-depth knowledge, insight and transactional experience in the global media and entertainment sector ideally complement our firm’s focus on alternatives investing in the media, entertainment and communications sectors,” said Steve Royer, partner of Shamrock. “His expertise around content and its monetization is directly aligned with our firm’s long term investment strategy in this segment. We have known and worked with Jason for over 10 years and are excited to have him joining our firm.”
