Jason Segel Makes Red Carpet Debut With Rumored Girlfriend

Awards season makes everyone a bit bolder, including Jason Segel, who made his red carpet debut with his girlfriend of a year, Alexis Minter, on Friday night.
Segel stepped out with Minter, a photographer, at Sean Penn’s annual Help Haiti Home Gala. It was their first official appearance as a couple.
Segel usually maintains a fairly private personal life. In the past, he’s been linked to fellow actors Chloe Sevigny, Bojana Novakovic, and Michelle Williams. However, this year, his performance as David Foster Wallace in The End of the Tour generated some Oscar buzz and he’s been out on the campaign trail. He was not, however, nominated for a Golden Globe.
While the pair has been photographed walking together on the street, they’ve never walked a red carpet together before.
The two were not the only pair making news at Penn’s Haiti function: Penn himself brought his ex-wife Madonna as his date. According to E!, inside the event Madonna sang “La Vie en Rose” and gave a shoutout to the night’s host: “I want to say Sean that I loved you from the moment that I laid eyes on you and I still love you just the same,” she said.
