Who Is Jason Oppenheim's Girlfriend? All About Marie-Lou Nurk

Jason Oppenheim and Marie-Lou Nurk met on a vacation they will never forget.

The couple first connected while they were both visiting Greece for a summer getaway. Oppenheim and the model were spotted sharing some PDA during their trip abroad in July 2022, which came six months after the Selling Sunset star's split with ex Chrishell Stause. While Oppenheim wasn't looking for a relationship at the time, it appears that he couldn't deny his spark with Nurk.

Since their initial outing, the couple have made things Instagram and red carpet official. And in February 2023, the couple announced that they'd moved in together. Oppenheim and Nurk gave PEOPLE an exclusive tour of their nearly 5,500-square-foot, $18 million dollar condo in Los Angeles.

Oppenheim has been clear about not wanting kids in the past, but he may be open to tying the knot with Nurk.

"I'm more open to being a husband than I am a father right now," he told PEOPLE in August 2022. "I like the idea that there's no pressure, or a thought about having to have a child with Lou. So it just makes it easy for us."

On the topic of having children, Nurk told PEOPLE, "I think for the next ten years, I'm good. And that's a long time, so I'm not even thinking about it yet."

In the meantime, the two seem very happy together. Even fellow Selling Sunset star (and Oppenheim's former girlfriend) Mary Fitzgerald has hinted they're a good match. "I've never seen him happier," Fitzgerald told PEOPLE in November 2022.

"She's just very calm, very mellow," the reality star added. "She's not a jealous person. She also lives in Paris, so they go back and forth, and he has a break, and she also doesn't want kids for the next 10 years."

In September 2022, Nurk opened up about her relationship with Oppenheim. "Since I've been with Jason, I have a lot less privacy," the model said in an interview with Vogue Germany, which PEOPLE translated from German. "There are always not only positives, but negative aspects, when one lives out in the open. Whether it's on social media, in the press or on TV, one is much more quickly judged."

Nurk also spoke about appearing in the upcoming seasons of Selling Sunset. "I'll be seen in season 6 and I'm very excited," she said. "Unfortunately, I couldn't prepare for it because the production was already planned. But on a reality show, it's actually better not to think too much about it so it's not unnatural."

Nurk grew up in the south of Germany. Prior to meeting Oppenheim, she was living in Paris and traveling frequently for work.

She attended Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University 

As a college student, Nurk attended Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart, Germany. While studying at the university between 2018 and 2021, she majored in marketing.

Nurk works for a branding agency and is also a model

According to Nurk's LinkedIn, she currently works as a strategist at Strichpunkt Design, one of the leading design and branding agencies in Germany. In addition to her day job, she is also a model signed with Mega Model Agency. On Instagram, she's shared a look into her life as a model, including a shoot for NA-KD Fashion.

She loves traveling and visiting museums 

Nurk doesn't appear to stay in one place for long as she's constantly traveling around the globe. She's documented several of her trips on Instagram, including outings in Ibiza, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal as well as New York City and Los Angeles. While at each of her destinations, Nurk often appears to make time to stop by a museum, sharing photos from the Museum of Modern Art in New York and König Galerie in Berlin, among others.

Nurk and Oppenheim were first spotted while vacationing in Greece

Nurk and Oppenheim were seen together for the first time while they were both vacationing in Mykonos, Greece, in July 2022. The pair were caught on camera sharing a kiss, which an onlooker described as some "serious PDA." During the trip, the duo shared their first photo together, with Nurk posting an Instagram story of the couple posing together in front of a sunset near the ocean.

Shortly after the trip, Oppenheim gushed that it was "exciting to meet someone," and things with Nurk "felt so good."

In September 2022, Oppenheim and Nurk returned to Mykonos for a weeklong vacation. They were joined by a group of people, which included Oppenheim's twin brother, Brett, and his new girlfriend, Samantha Abdul.

Oppenheim and Nurk arrived on the island in a luxurious manner — via helicopter — and stayed at a stunning villa overlooking the Aegean Sea.

They've already traveled several times together

While Nurk and Oppenheim haven't been together for very long, they've already extensively traveled together. In addition to their trip to Greece, the couple have also been spotted in L.A., Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, California and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Nurk documented their Mexican getaway on Instagram with a series of photos from the trip.

"3 nights in Cabo 💕🌴," she captioned the post, which included a selfie and a photo of Oppenheim walking near the beach.

They've walked several red carpets together

Nurk and Oppenheim didn't hesitate to make things red carpet official, making their debut while attending the premiere of Day Shift in August 2022. Less than a week later, they hit another red carpet event, coupling up while attending the premiere of Disney Plus' She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In December 2022, the real estate mogul and Nurk attended the People's Choice Awards in L.A. Oppenheim's Netflix series Selling Sunset was nominated for best reality show.

Nurk originally wanted Oppenheim to move to Paris 

A couple of months into their relationship, Nurk tried to convince Oppenheim that he should move to Paris. A TikTok posted by the broker in August 2022 seemed to allude that he was considering it. The video showed Nurk jokingly stroking the broker's chin with a caption that said: "When she wants you to move to Paris with her."

While chatting with PEOPLE a month later, Oppenheim revealed that he was considering buying property in Paris.

"For the first time, I'm thinking about maybe getting something in Europe, mostly because my girlfriend lives in Paris and I love Paris," he said.

Oppenheim says Nurk will be on the next season of Selling Sunset

Filming for season six of Selling Sunset is well underway, and Oppenheim says Nurk will make an appearance. The couple have filmed "a couple of times already," and Oppenheim anticipates more scenes with his Paris-based girlfriend during her next visit to California.

"We get along great," Oppenheim told PEOPLE. "It's a very relaxed relationship. So yeah, I think it can be expected that people will see this relationship, as well."

Nurk will spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with Oppenheim's family

Oppenheim shared his and Nurk's holiday plans with PEOPLE at the 1060 App event in L.A. on Nov. 17, 2022.

"She's going to be with me, with my family," he said. "First Thanksgiving and first Christmas. In fact, she's going to meet my mom on Thanksgiving. They've met over FaceTime, but they haven't met in person. Then we're going to my dad's birthday lunch the day after Thanksgiving."

The Selling Sunset star added that he's "not nervous at all" about introducing Nurk to his family.

"Both my parents really like her, and I've met her family over FaceTime as well. Hope to meet them in person. But no, my family's super chill. I have no concerns about my family ever or meeting Lou," Oppenheim explained.

Nurk and Oppenheim live together in Los Angeles

In February 2023, the couple announced that they'd taken the next step in their relationship — living under the same roof.

Oppenheim and Nurk gave PEOPLE an exclusive tour of their Los Angeles condo, which cost roughly $18 million.

"We're living here, I think, for many years," the reality star said. "I've lived in many nice places, but this is my favorite place by far."

The nearly 5,500-square-foot space boasts three bedrooms, 12-foot ceilings, a wraparound terrace, a 10-seat private movie theater, a 500-square-foot walk-in closet and his-and-hers primary bathrooms (one of Nurk's must-haves when searching for a home).
