Jason Momoa wears a tank top to the Golden Globes — and nobody's complaining
Jason Momoa attended his first-ever Golden Globes and did it his way — with a tank top and man bun.
In a video showing him getting ready for the big night, the hulking Aquaman star joked with stylist Jeanne Yang about wanting to wear a Slayer shirt under his green Tom Ford coat. And while he didn’t go metal, he did put his own spin on his style, wearing a black tank top by Rick Owens instead.
While Momoa walked the red carpet with wife Lisa Bonet in full glam, inside the ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, his coat was off — on her shoulders — and his massive muscles were on full display. His long curly locks were then swept up in his signature man bun.

The See and Game of Thrones actor, 40, remained in his comfort zone at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globes afterparty. He chowed on some food and chatted up friends, including Keegan-Michael Key.

Momoa shared videos of his awards show preparation on Instagram. Yang had his clothes and jewelry set out for him as he went through what he was wearing.
“Oh that green looks good,” he said after seeing the jacket. “Underneath’s gonna be a Slayer shirt, right? And my So iLL [climbing boots]?” he said with a laugh. “Nah. Just Joking.”
He had Slayer playing as he got ready, which made for some hair waving fun.
Yang shared a video of Momoa and Bonet headed out to the show. He was carrying his coat while rocking his tank, which the stylist noted was from Rick Owens, and called his wife “gorgeous.”
