People get stuck in elevators all the time, but Jason Momoa getting stuck in an elevator is a slightly different story.

Momoa documented his entire hours-long ordeal in an Instagram story.

The incident happened Monday at L'Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver. Momoa was stuck on the elevator with his dog and some friends.

"Well, we're stuck on an elevator. The fire department really doesn't want to show up," he said.

While waiting to be rescued, Momoa and the rest of the group debated fun things like who they would eat first, once their bag of Peanut M&Ms was gone.

Momoa and friends also tried to get through the mirrored ceiling for an epic escape, but failed in their attempt.

"Just trying to get out, trying to be like Die Hard but this didn't work out according to plan," Momoa said.

Who is he kidding? Momoa could have totally broken out of that elevator if given enough time.

Their stunt team eventually arrived, though it's unclear who actually rescued them. We're glad everyone is safe.

Explainer: How impeachment works and why Trump is unlikely to be removed

Phil: "The Senate rules allow members to file, before the conclusion of the trial, motions to dismiss the charges against the president. If such a motion passes by a simple majority the impeachment proceedings effectively end." And that, folks, is how this will play out. The House will vote to impeach, succeeding with a simple majority pretty much along party lines. As soon as Articles of Impeachment are filed with the Senate, Republicans will move to dismiss the charges in their entirety before any evidence is presented; and with 53 Republican Senators, they will almost assuredly succeed. Thus stopping the impeachment in its tracks without even considering the facts, evidence, or issues. If by some chance, 3 Republican Senators break from the party line & vote not to dismiss, we'll see a rushed "trial". And it will result in acquittal because there's no way 20+ Republicans will break ranks and vote to remove Trump from office. House Democrats know this. And a few have even gone on record as saying they don't support impeachment because they know it stands absolutely no chance of success. But Pelosi & others are playing a different tactic...they're hoping an impeachment trial will help them in the 2020 election.
