Jason Momoa’s ‘Frontier’ Gets Netflix Premiere Date

Netflix has slotted January 20 for the premiere of six-episode period drama series Frontier starring Jason Momoa.

Co-created by Rob and Peter Blackie and directed by Brad Peyton, Frontier revolves around warring factions vying for control of the fur trade in 1700s Canada. The series premiered November 6 on Discovery Canada and got an early second season renewal in late October.

Landon Liboiron, Alun Armstrong, Zoe Boyle, Allan Hawco, Jessica Matten and Shawn Doyle also star. Frontier is produced by Take the Shot Productions and ASAP Entertainment in association with Discovery.
