Jason Aldean and Kid Rock have announced they will be hitting the road for a seven-stop small town "Rock the Country" tour. From April to July 2024, the pair will be headlining music festivals in American small towns, joined by other notable country musicians at each stop.
The two will make stops in Kentucky, Georgia and South Carolina among other states.
In a press release, Kid Rock said, “Rock the Country is for everyone who makes this country run and loves America. Nobody knows how to party like Small Town America."
The tour comes on the heels of backlash Jason Aldean received over the past year for his "Try That in a Small Town" song and music video. Online criticism perceived the song's lyrics and music video as portraying a pro-gun violence stance and lynching sentiments. Aldean called those references meritless and dangerous.
