Jason Aldean -- the Academy of Country Music's 2010s-era "Artist of the Decade" -- has announced the Nov. 3, 2023 release of his 11th studio album "Highway Desperado."

The album marks the first new music since his 2021 and 2022 double-album studio project, "Macon, Georgia."

The new 14-track release will include the recent controversial Billboard all-genre Hot 100 chart hit "Try That In a Small Town" alongside previously released track "Tough Crowd," plus another countrified rock anthem, "Let Your Boys Be Country."

Column: Jason Aldean's critics are missing his point and misrepresenting his message

Between 2008's "She's Country" and 2012's Luke Bryan and Eric Church collaboration "The Only Way I Know," Aldean achieved 10 consecutive No. 1 or No. 2 placements on Billboard's country's radio and sales charts. This was followed by another run of nine chart-toppers or No. 2 singles between 2013's "Night Train" and 2016's "Any Ol' Barstool."

Currently, Aldean's success is peaking with his highest crossover placement since his 2011 cover of Colt Ford and Brantley Gilbert's "Dirt Road Anthem." This follows duets with Miranda Lambert (2018's "Drowns the Whiskey") and Carrie Underwood (2021's "If I Didn't Love You") as the high-water marks of his recent era of acclaim.
