Jaren Jackson Jr. out, Ja Morant among Grizzlies players doubtful to play against the Heat

The Memphis Grizzlies will be missing a few important players on Monday against the Miami Heat.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is out on the second night of a back-to-back as part of the recovery management from his right foot injury. He joins Danny Green and Desmond Bane as players unable to play.

Ja Morant (left ankle soreness), John Konchar (right toe soreness), Ziaire Williams (right patellar tendinitis) and Jake LaRavia (left foot soreness) are all listed as doubtful. When a player is doubtful, it often means he is unlikely to play.

Morant was listed as doubtful the day before a game earlier this season, but was upgraded to questionable on the day of the game and eventually played.

The Grizzlies are second in the NBA in games missed by player injuries, according to spotrac. Memphis (14-9) has yet to use its projected starting lineup this season.
