Before Jared Leto was bungee jumping off the top of stages at Austin City Limits Music Festival and inviting his close friend Matthew McConaughey onstage, Leto paid Austinites a visit back in April 2018 to promote the Thirty Seconds to Mars album "America."

Leto, along with his brother and drummer, Shannon Leto, formed the band in 1998.

Jared Leto meets an unexpected fan ... the grackle

But that wasn't all. While talking to fans who gathered to see the performance, Jared Leto had an unexpected interaction with a very vocal fan: a grackle.

Stopping mid-sentence, Jared Leto asked the audience "What the (expletive) was that?" to which the group chuckled and responded with "A grackle!"

Leto was quick to reply, "A what?"
