Yahoo Entertainment New Japan Pro-Wrestling Reveals NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship
New Japan Pro-Wrestling has officially unveiled the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
During Saturday’s NJPW Resurgence press conference, the company unveiled the new belt, which will be crowned during Resurgence, which takes place on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in Long Beach, California.
The newly unveiled NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship will be given to one of four women; Mercedes Moné, Stephanie Vaquer, Momo Kohgo, and Willow Nightingale, the four of whom are taking part in a tournament for the belt.
Moné and Vaguer will face off in one side of the semi-finals, while Kohgo and Nightingale will face off. The winners will then take part in the Finals to determine the champion.
