Jane Fonda back for climate change protest with 'Young Sheldon' star Iain Armitage, Paul Scheer
Jane Fonda is back at it again, protesting on the steps of Capitol Hill against climate change as part of her Fire Drill Fridays, and this time she has Iain Armitage by her side.
The 11-year-old actor tweeted out his excitement Friday morning and urged people to join him and Fonda for the day's protests.
"It’s FireDrill Friday!!! @FireDrillFriday See you at Congress at 11! Act as if our house is on fire— because it is!" the "Young Sheldon" actor tweeted.
In a followup tweet, Armitage shared a photo of himself alongside Fonda and other protesters with their fists in the air, holding up signs that read "Cultivate Food Justice."
"Black Monday" actor Paul Scheer also joined the protest.
The actress spoke about food justice and agriculture during the protest.
"Food and agriculture use 70 percent of all the Earth's clean water sources. Previously, we talked about oceans, agricultural chemical runoff is contributing to dead zones in the Gulf of Mexico and oceans around the world," Fonda said in a video captured by the Fire Drill Fridays account.

I asked Iain Armitage if he’s getting arrested today. “Unfortunately not. I’m too young.” Maybe when you’re older, young sheldon. pic.twitter.com/nSq9NKXjFI
