Jamie Lynn Spears Says She Thinks Sister Britney Would Be 'Worried' About Her Competing on“ I'm a Celebrity”

"I think she’s probably checking in on me heavily," the 'Zoey 101' alum said of her older sister

Jamie Lynn Spears is speaking candidly about how she thinks her older sister Britney Spears is reacting to her time competing on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

During the latest episode of the U.K. reality television series, the Zoey 101 alum, 32, told Radio DJ Sam Thompson that she believed Britney, 41, would "be worried" about her time spent in the Australian outback.

"I think she’s probably checking in on me heavily," Jamie Lynn explained. "I do think she’s probably like, ‘Why would she do that?’ She asked me that before I came here, she was like, ‘You’re really going to do it?’ I was like, ‘I’m going to go to Australia and check it out.’ "

"She’d probably be like, ‘Ya’ll get her the f--- out of there, right now!’ " she added.

During the conversation, Jamie Lynn also called Britney a "good big sister," adding, "I love her. Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, family’s fight. Listen, we just do it better than most.” 

As Thompson, 31, noted that "everyone’s got stuff they argue about all the time," Jamie Lynn replied, "Me and her both have had a very complicated upbringing."

"We’ve had very complicated circumstances and we both had to deal with them in different ways. Sometimes we took it out on each other when perhaps we shouldn’t have," she continued. "... I’ve been the one person in her life — and she can say this — I’ve never taken anything from her, you know? I’ve been the one person in her life who’s always said, ‘I just want to be your sister.' "

Added Jamie Lynn: “We just had a really weird life so we can’t explain it to many people, but at the end of the road I know that that’s my family, I love them.”

Jamie Lynn's latest comments come about after she broke her silence about her older sibling while talking to TV presenter Fred Sirieix on a recently aired episode of I'm a Celebrity.

At the time, Sieieix, 51, asked Jamie Lynn to recall her memories of Britney's infamous kiss with Madonna on the 2003 MTV VMAs and explain how it came to be, to which the actress said, "They just did it. I was at home watching like, ‘Oh OK, this will be fun tomorrow at school, can’t wait.' "

Jamie Lynn then spoke about looking up to her sister from a young age. "Anything my sister did I always thought was the best," she said. "When it came to my sister, even if I felt anything, if anyone said anything I was ready to go. I was like, ‘Don’t talk about my sister, she’s the best.’ "
