The "Zoey 101" star took to social media on Tuesday to express her feelings over the news that "Lizzie McGuire" is coming back.
Jamie Lynn is pretty lighthearted over the situation, despite talk that "Zoey 101" is set for its own reboot, which seems to be just rumors for now.
She shared a hilarious video that starts off with Duff's character, Lizzie McGuire, smiling as the opening song for her show comes on.
Then, an obviously jealous Zoey Brooks, played by Jamie Lynn, storms in looking upset while Justin Bieber's "That Should Be Me" plays in the background.
"When Zoey heard about Lizzie's reboot," Britney Spears' little sister wrote. She also made sure to hashtag her former Nickelodeon show and advised the fans to turn the sound on.
Bieber's lyrics go something like this: "This is so wrong, I can't go on till you believe that this should be me."
While it appears Jamie Lynn is kidding, there is probably some truth to it.
Rumors a "Zoey 101" reboot was in the works started earlier this summer, but the show's lead actress quickly seemed to put those rumors to bed.
"Yo, @Nickelodeon have your people call my people #Zoey101," she captioned several articles with headlines that said she was reportedly in talks for the show return.
The "Zoey 101" reboot idea isn't completely shut down just yet because a week later the cast -- including Christopher Massey, Victoria Justice, Paul Butcher -- all got together sans Jamie Lynn.
Although she wasn't physically there, she was there in spirit and they decided to Facetime her.
Unfortunately, Jamie Lynn was asleep.
Hilary Duff announced her "Lizzie McGuire" reboot over the weekend, which will be available to stream on the Disney+.
Both shows were massive hits, although they aired on different networks and the final season of "Lizzie McGuire" was in 2004.
Jamie Lynn's "Zoey 101" became a fan favorite when it hit the air in 2005. After four seasons, the show and its cast said goodbye in 2008.
