Jamie Lee Curtis Reunites with 'True Lies' Costar Arnold Schwarzenegger: 'The GOAT'

The actress and the former California governor posed for photos together at a charity event over the weekend

It's 1994 all over again!

True Lies costars Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger reunited over the weekend, nearly 30 years after their blockbuster film first premiered in theaters. Curtis, 64, even shared some cute photos of the duo on her Instagram page to celebrate.

On Saturday, the Oscar-winning actress and the former California governor, 76, spent time together at a charity event for the nonprofit After-School All-Stars, which assists low-income children.

"'Ya, my name is Ingeborg, I'm from Stuttgart.' I LOVE the way my friends suit up and show up for the causes that move their souls and hearts," Curtis wrote on Instagram. "@schwarzenegger LOVES @afterschoolallstars and I LOVE ARNOLD! THE GOAT! 🐐"

In the pics, Curtis wore a German dirndl dress and a flower crown, while the Terminator star rocked a black T-shirt and some high socks. The pair also posed with chef Hans Rockenwagner, who came dressed to impress and matched the apparent theme.

The charity outing for the longtime friends came nearly a year after their last public reunion in October 2022, when Curtis was celebrated at her hand-and-footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

During the event, where the two shared a friendly kiss, Schwarzenegger called Curtis the "most extraordinary actress"  who could "kick some serious ass," as he applauded her performance in True Lies from all those years ago.

"When you go online and you check out Jamie Lee Curtis, you can see all the wonderful things they're saying about her," said Schwarzenegger, who played spy Harry Tasker in the film. "But there's always one thing that really pisses me off, and that is when they say that she is a supporting actress in the movie True Lies."

"Because she wasn't supporting — she was the female lead. She was the star. She was starring with me," he added.

Curtis also caught up with Entertainment Tonight after receiving her honor, and opened up about what it meant to see her pal come out to support her. At the time, she revealed that she wouldn't be opposed to starring in another film with Schwarzenegger.

"It made me want to do another one with him. I walked up to him and I was like, 'Dude, why aren't we doing another movie?' I'm gonna call Jim today," she said, referring to filmmaker James Cameron.

Of course, True Lies went on to be quite the smash. According to Box Office Mojo, the movie grossed more than $146 million globally, taking in more than $25 million in its first weekend alone in 1994. True Lies also earned an Oscar nod for Best Visual Effects, and won Curtis a best actress Golden Globe Award.
