Why be everywhere all at once when you can be at a burger joint?

From scream queen to relatable queen, Jamie Lee Curtis is letting everyone know that the Oscars can't compare to a good cheeseburger.

On Sunday evening, Curtis attended the 96th Academy Awards, where she was one of five past winners who presented the first trophy of the night, for Best Supporting Actress. Along with Lupita Nyong'o, Rita Moreno, Regina King, and Mary Steenburgen, she crowned the latest winner, The Holdovers star Da'Vine Joy Randolph.

But instead of sticking around to see the sketches, songs, and Hollywood's it-dog, Curtis ducked out of the Dolby Theatre early and headed to In-N-Out Burger for a classic L.A. dinner.

The Halloween actress was quick to share her exit with the world. Alongside a car selfie and a photo of her meal, Curtis posted her Oscar night checklist to Instagram: "FLY IN. GET FLUFFED AND FOLDED. PRESENT AT OSCARS. GO TO [In-N-Out]. FLY AWAY."

While it's long been a California staple, In-N-Out has become a Hollywood hot spot throughout awards season. Paul Giamatti kicked things off in January when he was photographed at having dinner at one of the burger joint's locations with his Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy.

Weeks later, he picked up another win for The Holdovers at the Critics Choice Awards and assured the crowd that he once again had plans for a celebratory burger — but having learned from his past mistakes, would be staying in the car to avoid a photo op.

In fairness to Curtis, she already experienced an ideal Oscars night last year, when she took home a statuette for her supporting role in Everything Everywhere All at Once (which also went on to win Best Picture). That said, the star didn't know she'd be back in attendance at this year's ceremony until pretty late in the game. In January, she used her appearance on Today to ask Academy brass if they planned to call her.

"I’m going to ask them!" Curtis told Hoda Kotb when the host asked if she was gearing up to take the Oscars stage. Turning to the camera, Curtis made her plea: "Oscar people, am I presenting? It's usually a tradition that last year's winner presents this year, but they haven't called yet. Would you please call? I'd like to get a dress, and I'd like to arrange things."

Thankfully, it seems the Academy called just in time for Curtis to arrange for a dress and a burger.
