Jamie Foxx Plays Pickleball with YouTube Influencer David Dobrik: 'We the New Duo'

Jamie Foxx and David Dobrik are a dynamic duo on the pickleball court!

The actor, 55, and popular YouTuber, 27, appeared in a fun video posted to The Best Paddle's Instagram Story (and reshared by Foxx on Thursday), where they enthusiastically displayed their confidence in their game.

"Hey, yo, we the new duo," Foxx told the camera as he and Dobrik walked together on the pickleball court.

"We're undefeated," Dobrik added before the Oscar winner jumped back in, challenging professional pickleball players like Tyson McGuffin to a showdown on the court.

"Even if Tyson wants to come out here and challenge us," said Dobrik, before Foxx concluded jubilantly, "Come on, baby, we good right now!"

Following his April medical emergency, Foxx has been spotted playing pickleball multiple times as he continued on his road to recovery.

In a July photo shared by TMZ and the Daily Mail, citing an Instagram post, the Burial star appeared in good spirits as he and a companion faced off in a doubles match against two opponents.

Foxx later showed off his skills in a game of pickleball with Olympic volleyball star Casey Patterson, as shown in a video posted to Instagram in August.

The actor's daughter Corinne Foxx previously announced in an April 12 statement that her father had "experienced a medical complication" the day prior, though little information about the actor's recovery has been available since the incident.

In an update one month later, Corinne, 29, said her dad had "been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating," and was even playing pickleball the previous day.

Aside from sweating it out on the pickleball court, Foxx has been soaking up the last bit of summer in Mexico as of late with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.

The couple were snapped out on a date Sunday afternoon in Cabo San Lucas, as seen in photos obtained by TMZ. They had previously jetted off to the Mexican hotspot earlier this month, over Labor Day weekend.

Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Foxx "is doing fantastic" after his medical emergency earlier this year, and added that Huckstepp is a good match.

"Alyce is a total sweetheart,” the insider said, also noting that Huckstepp “is Australian but has been in the U.S. for a while.”
