Jamie Foxx is serving up some serious vocals all in the name of wings.

On Friday, April 12, the Day Shift actor shared an impressive video of himself singing his Wingstop order into the phone in the hopes that an employee would sing back to him.

“Can I get some lemon pepper wings?” he sang at the start of the video. But he didn’t just want a normal-sized order of the finger food. “Can I get 22,000 lemon pepper wings?” he sang with a sharp vibrato.

The Oscar-winning actress held his phone in one hand while he played the piano using the other.

“I’m having a sleepover – I guess I’m not too old for a sleepover with some BSB,” he sang, referencing his new whiskey, BSB Whiskey.

The employee on the phone sounded baffled after there was a lull in the phone call. “You said 22,000 wings?” the person asked.

Foxx spoke in his normal voice, “Literally I need 200, but everybody at Wingstop sings, and you picked up, and I said ‘Ain’t no way he sings too!'” Clearly confused, the Wingstop employee hung up. But Foxx wasn’t ready to give up – he called back to see if another employee would sing back to him. (Spoiler alert: It worked!)

The second employee to answer, who said her name was Kim, listened to Foxx as he sang about lemon pepper wings again, this time upping his order to 332,000 wings to go.

Breaking character for a second, he clarified in his speaking voice that he actually wanted 2,800 wings for a “little party.”

Kim’s response turned out to be exactly what Foxx was looking for.

“Okay so you said you want 2,800…lemon pepper wings,” she said, singing the lemon pepper wings portion of her answer.

“What the f--- is going on at Wingstop that everybody can sing?” Foxx quipped. He then told her to keep going.

As he played the piano, she belted out again, “Lemon pepper wings.”  Foxx then joined in, “Can I get 2,000 wings freshly plucked?”

Riffing with some serious skill, Kim told the star, “You can have however many you like.”

Closing out the homage to his love of Wingstop, Foxx said, “We on our way up there! Wingstop don’t stop. Let me sip some of this BSB."

Earlier in April, Foxx went viral for singing his order of 700 wings at the popular chain with a similar piano tune.

He’s had lots going on in the food and beverage industry. He recently released BSB Whiskey in collaboration with WES brands. The new brand has a sleek matte bottle design and is sold for $25 online and in select retailers.

"Life is precious, so I've always tried living it to the fullest. As an avid whiskey drinker, owning a brand that is sippable and unlike any other has been a life goal of mine; with BSB, I'm finally making that happen," said Foxx in the press release announcing the new brand. "BSB is an ode to my personal philosophy – it's about bringing people together to celebrate life and have fun."
