After a harrowing personal year, Jamie Foxx is celebrating his restored health by diving head-first into the holiday season with an elaborate display of lights at his home.

“When I was a kid the only lights we could afford for outside the house was a red light bulb… I said when I’m finally blessed enough. I’m GON LIGHT IT UP!!! Murrrrrrkrima! #Welit #TheCrib,” Foxx, 56, wrote on Instagram. Nat King Cole’s classic record, “The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You),” played in the background of the video as a drone flew over his lavish estate.

Ahead of the estate’s gates on the front lawn, giant multi-colored letters spelled out “JOY.” The gates, itself, have snowmen serving as mock guards with brightly-lit snowflakes plastered across them. Viewers are then led through the tree-lined driveway and the main attraction—the Oscar winner‘s actual home, where every inch is lit in a “merry and bright” fashion.

In the comments, screenwriter/producer Mara Brock Akil joked, “Are you giving tours?!” Television personality Shaunie O’Neal later teased, “This is my kind of Christmas!” However, one fan revealed the one thing that’d truly get us in the spirit—a Jamie Foxx Christmas album.

Last year, he released two holiday singles, “12 Days of Christmas” and “Diamonds For Christmas,” that were on the soundtrack for VH1’s Hip-Hop Family Christmas Wedding. The film stars Ne-Yo and Keri Hilson as Jayson and Jessica who wed in the midst of familial chaos. Foxx served as executive producer.

Earlier this month, the “Unpredictable” crooner made his first public appearance since his “near-death experience.” Foxx reflected on the incident when accepting the Vanguard Award at the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema and Television: Honoring Black, Latino and AAPI Achievements.

“I couldn’t do that six months ago, I couldn’t actually walk to [the stage]. And I’m not a clone […] It feels good to be here. I cherish every single minute now, it’s different,” said Foxx, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

He continued, “I wouldn’t wish what I went though on my worst enemy because it’s tough when it’s almost over, when you see the tunnel. I saw the tunnel, I didn’t see the light […] I have a new respect for life, I have a new respect for my art. When you realize that it could be over like that… I got to tell you don’t give up on your art and don’t let them take the art from you either.”
