Jamie Foxx Denies Accusation He Slapped a Woman With His Penis in 2002

An attorney for actor Jamie Foxx has denied a woman’s accusation that he sexually assaulted her 16 years ago, and promised that the actor will respond with legal action.

TMZ reported Wednesday that a woman says Foxx slapped her with his penis in 2002 after she refused to perform oral sex on him at a party he was hosting. The accuser said one of Foxx’s friends told her to leave the party, and that she returned home to Los Angeles to seek psychological treatment.

Foxx’s attorney, Allison Hart of the L.A.-based law firm Lavely & Singer, told TMZ on Tuesday that Foxx and his representatives had not previously been aware of the accusation and that he “will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him.”

It is unclear, however, if such a report exists.

TMZ has reported that the case is an “open investigation,” but a public information officer for the Las Vegas Police Department told TheWrap on Wednesday that no reports have been filed against Foxx. Hart and other representatives for Foxx have not responded to TheWrap’s requests for further comment.

The woman was inspired to come forward by the #MeToo movement, and wanted to speak out in case others came forward with other accusations, TMZ said.
