Jamie Foxx Was His Daughter’s Date to Her First Premiere & We Love a Proud Parent

Apparently, acting really runs in the Foxx family: Jamie Foxx attended daughter Corrine’s first premiere with her and the photos are so sweet. The 25-year-old made her feature length debut in 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, which swims into theaters August 16.
The father-daughter duo were all smiles and laughs on the red carpet. Pulling a total dad move, the Ray Oscar winner took out his cell phone to take a selfie with his daughter as the cameras flashed. After the premiere, Foxx continued to gush about his daughter posting a picture of the two on Instagram with the sweetest captioning lauding his daughter’s performance and being the absolutely proudest dad.

“Brilliant performance!!!!!! God is beyond great!!! My daughter just stunned everybody in Hollywood tonight,” Foxx wrote on his Instagram post following the premiere screening. “Not only was she amazing the movie is a must see!!! So proud of her!!! She put that work in!! Please please everybody go see her movie this Friday!!! August 16th!!” Along with all the exclamation points, Foxx used the hashtag #daddydaughtertime to complete his post along with mentioning the film’s 80% rating on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
Not only did Foxx take time to post on Instagram, but his social media platform had a slew of footage from the premiere. His entire Instagram story was all about his daughter and 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. We love seeing Foxx support his daughter as she follows in his footsteps.
