Jamie Foxx back to filming for first time since hospitalization

Jamie Foxx looks to be on the mend, returning to work in the wake of his recent mystery health scare that landed him in the hospital.

The Oscar winner, 55, was back in front of the cameras for his latest BetMGM commercial this week, insiders told TMZ. Foxx reportedly looked to be the picture of health while filming at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

“Thankful for my @BetMGM family and a great few nights in Vegas,” Foxx wrote on Instagram that evening. “We got BIG things coming soon.”

The post marked the first snap Foxx shared of himself since being hospitalized in April for an undisclosed medical issue.

Though recently seen out and about in Chicago, the “Ray” star is reportedly still “not 100%” amid his recovery, according to sources. Another report echoed the sentiment, noting that while he was “just taking it easy,” Foxx was “doing really, really well” — so much so that he commemorated his improvement with a party at the facility where he’s undergoing outpatient treatment.

Upon reports of his release from the hospital in May, Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx denied rumors the family had been “preparing for the worst.”

“Sad to see how the media runs wild,” she said at the time.
