James Van Der Beek Honors Wife Kimberly on Mother's Day with All 6 Their Kids: 'You Are a Marvel'

"I hope today you can truly appreciate yourself for even a fraction of what you do for all of us," the actor wrote in honor of his wife for Mother's Day

James Van Der Beek is honoring his wife on Mother's Day.

The actor,47, shared a few photos from his holiday celebrations with wife Kimberly and all six of their kids — Jeremiah, 2, Gwendolyn, 5, Emilia, 7, Annabel, 10, Joshua, 12, and Olivia, 13.

On Sunday, May 12, the Dawson's Creek alum shared a Reel on his Instagram, which included photos of Kimberly and their six kids. Throughout the video, Van Der Beek and Kimberly were photographed with big smiles next to their kids as well as their dogs. The brief video included snapshots of each of the couple's kids and one of the two beside their dogs. The video was accompanied by Bobby Caldwell's "What You Won't Do for Love."

"To the best mother I could’ve imagined… not just to our kids, but to all our friends who need some big Earth Mother energy," the actor began in the Instagram caption.

"I hope today you can truly appreciate yourself for even a fraction of what you do for all of us - seen and unseen - and soak up the love that we who benefit from your presence wish to shower upon you," he continued. "You are a marvel. And pure magic. On behalf of the world… thank you for existing, babe. I love you. ❤️."

Earlier this year, Kimberly wrote a lengthy tribute to her husband on his birthday, praising him for being such an "incredible example" for their kids.

Posting pictures of her husband with all of their kids, Kimberly took a moment to honor James in the caption.

"@vanderjames HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It is so appropriate that your birthday is on International Women’s Day because you are such a beautiful place for our little ladies to explore what it is to be fully expressed in their authentic selves," she wrote.

"You are an incredible example for our sons. This year particularly, you have exemplified grace, bravery, vulnerability, authenticity and alchemy with your heart and divine essence as the guide post."

"Wishing you magic, abundant health, unfolding your dreams and divine path alignment. I love you. And to our friends, THANK YOU for the way you’ve shown up for this monumentally glorious human this year," Kimberly concluded her post.

In February, James posted a video on his Instagram after his daughter Olivia appeared on We Are Family to sing a duet with her dad.

Following the premise of the show, Olivia sang a song while her dad was behind a curtain, asking the audience and the judges to figure out who her celebrity relative was.

"When I was 15, I first told my mom I wanted to audition professionally. She didn’t hold me back. She took me to NYC, and she walked me through it," James began his caption, looking back at the special occasion.

"So when the opportunity to do #WeAreFamilyFox came up and my 13 year-old lit up like a carbon copy of me at that age… I let her put herself on tape. I got her some voice lessons. And I walked her through it," he said.

"She’d never sung in front of people before. So proud of my baby girl. And I call her that because when I watched her tonight, all I could see was the newborn in the bassinet who I could not stop looking at in awe," James wrote.

"Kid’s still got it 😇," the proud dad added.
