James Taylor to headline Star Lake... Dan + Shay will headline their own show there, too

BURGETTSTOWN ― Two big concert announcements came from The Pavilion at Star Lake on Tuesday morning: James Taylor and Dan + Shay.

Taylor & His All-Star Band will perform Sept. 7 at the Burgettstown venue. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Fans can look forward to Taylor classics like "Fire and Rain," "You've Got a Friend" and "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You.") It's a Saturday night show.

Dan + Shay, the three-time Grammy Award-winning country duo, will headline Star Lake on Aug. 2, a Friday.

It'll be a homecoming for the duo's Dan Smyers, a North Allegheny High graduate.

The tour's support acts are Jake OwenandDylan Marlowe.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, with Citi card pre-sales starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The 30-date tour aptly receives its title from “Heartbreak On The Map,” the third song, and early fan-favorite on the duo’s fifth studio album, "Bigger Houses."

Dan + Shay hits include "19 You + Me." "Tequila" and "10,000 Hours."
