James Corden reveals singer who walked away from special 'Carpool Karaoke'

On The Late Late Show With James Corden, rather than eat pig’s head jelly in a game of Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts with Steven Tyler, Corden revealed one guest who had walked out before even appearing on the show. Corden said that they had planned to do a special Carpool Karaoke for the anniversary of Back to the Future. They had even booked a DeLorean. The idea was to have some of the biggest acts from the ‘80s appear, including singer Bryan Adams.

Unfortunately, Adams wasn’t aware of what he was getting into. “I don’t know that Bryan’s management had told Bryan that it was a sort of collaboration with lots of other singers from that time period,” Corden said.

Adams showed up, realized what he was about to take part in, and was definitely not in heaven. “Brian walked in, seen [sic.] the list of other people that had done it, turned around, walked, got in his car, and then left,” Corden said. “I’ve never seen him. Never heard from him. He just bolted. He was gone.”

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 11:35 on CBS.
