James Corden reveals he drunkenly urged Ivanka Trump to 'make it better' at a friend's wedding
James Corden has revealed that he and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom drunkenly urged Ivanka Trump to “do something” about the state of US politics during a mutual friend’s wedding reception last month.
While playing Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts with Terminator: Dark Fate star Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday's episode of The Late Late Show, the presenter was asked what it was like watching fashion designer Misha Nonoo tie the knot to businessman Mikey Hess alongside President Donald Trump’s daughter.

“I was a little drunk and I was with Orlando Bloom who I think was equally, if not slightly less drunk than I was,” Corden began, recalling this recent time in Rome in order to avoid having to eat a bull’s penis as a penalty for his silence. “And we were stood at the bar and Ivanka was also at the bar, and I can't, I can't 100 percent remember it...
“I remember that we were quite drunk and we started going, '‘Ivanka, you can do something, you can do something, you can do something, you can make a difference, you can make a difference, you can make it better,’“ he laughed.
The Gavin & Stacey actor then claimed that Ivanka replied: “'I'm trying. I'm trying.'“
Initially, Corden didn’t remember the awkward exchange. But when he saw Ivanka in the venue’s gardens the next morning, it all came rushing back to him.
“'I bet you've got a headache,’” she greeted him, he said.
During the same game, Corden asked Schwarzenegger about his time as Governor of California - which he answered truthfully. Although, he was forced to eat a turkey testicle when he refused to rank his Expendables co-stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke on their acting abilities.
