'James Bond' loses his wallet in Daniel Craig-starring beer ad

Does 007 keep his license to kill in his wallet?

Alas, that is a question unanswered by a new, Daniel Craig-starring Heineken ad. In the commercial, the actor is mistaken for James Bond but is actually playing a clumsy and at one point out-of-breath version of himself as he attempts to retrieve the wallet and passport he has left in a taxi. The name’s not much “Bond, James Bond,” as “Bean, Mr. Bean,” it seems.

Craig will definitely be playing James Bond in the new espionage adventure No Time to Die, which is set to be released on April 10. The film finds Bond no longer on active service and enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. According to the official synopsis, “his peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

No Time to Die costars Léa Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Ana de Armas, Billy Magnussen, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, and Rami Malek.
