As the first guest on Yahoo Entertainment’s new series Kid Gloves, Jake Gyllenhaal answered rapid-fire questions on seemingly every subject under the sun.

This time around, Senior Correspondent Kevin Polowy took a backseat on interview duties, instead handing off the mic to his daughters, Lyla, 8, and Luna, 5.

For their big debut, they talked to Gyllenhaal about his new animated movie, Spirit Untamed, childhood sibling fighting, and yes, NFTs.

Watch the video interview above.

LYLA POLOWY: Hi, we loved your movie.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Aw, thanks, guys.

LYLA POLOWY: Which one do you like better, unicorns or mermaids?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Unicorns.

LYLA POLOWY: Ugh.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: You guys seem upset with that answer. Do you-- do you like mermaids better?

LYLA POLOWY: I like mermaid better. She likes unicorns.

LUNA POLOWY: Do you like kitty cats?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: I do.

LUNA POLOWY: We have two kitties, Fluffernutter and Snowflake. Did you like being turned into a cartoon?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: I did. I prefer being a cartoon to being myself.

[SAD MUSIC PLAYING]

LYLA POLOWY: Do you have any brothers or sisters?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: I do. I have a big sister and I have a little half brother.

LUNA POLOWY: Do you guys fight a lot? I fight with my sister.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: When we were your guys age, we used to fight, you know. Because you have to be in the same space all the time. You know, you have to like sit in the back of the car and go do stuff together. And like sometimes you really love each other, and then sometimes you really can't stand each other. Do you guys fight?

BOTH: Yeah.

LUNA POLOWY: A lot.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: A lot.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

LYLA POLOWY: Have you ever fallen off a horse and hurt yourself really badly?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: I've fallen off a horse but I didn't hurt myself really badly.

LYLA POLOWY: What's the worst you've ever hurt yourself?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Um. Oh. Hmm. Gotten some pretty bad cuts and stitches and stuff like that.

LUNA POLOWY: Do you have any picture.

KEVIN POLOWY: Let's not ask Jake for pictures of himself bleeding, guys.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Oh, I was going to-- oh, never mind. OK, cool.

LYLA POLOWY: My friend Alice broker her arm three times when she was in kindergarten, when she was in first grade, and now when she's in second grade.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: And the third time was she like, what's going on?

LYLA POLOWY: Do you know what we call our daddy?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Uh, Snowflake, uh, Fluffernutter?

BOTH: Daddy Poopypants.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Nah. Why? Why?

KEVIN POLOWY: Guys, don't embarrass me in front of Jake.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: OK, Mr. Poopypants.

LUNA POLOWY: Daddy says you like good music because you like Paul Sean.

KEVIN POLOWY: Sean Paul.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Oh, [? Seth. ?] Well, your daddy and I are both big Sean Paul fans.

- He's stuck in traffic and he comes on and he want to dance. Doesn't matter.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: One day when you get older, you will learn the wisdom and greatness that is Paul Sean.

LUNA POLOWY: What are NTFs?

JAKE GYLLENHAAL: Oh, wow. Um, you know, to be honest-- you know this experience that we're having right now? This is an NFT.

[CRICKET CHIRPING]

You're just as confused as I am.

KEVIN POLOWY: Jake, thank you so much. Girls, you want to say anything else to Jake?

LYLA POLOWY: Send us pictures.

LUNA POLOWY: Send us pictures.
