Jake Gyllenhaal's latest premiere was a family affair!

The actor and his girlfriend, Jeanne Cadieu, stepped out to the Road House premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on Tuesday. They were joined by his parents, director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner Gyllenhaal.

Jake’s parents sported dressy casual looks for the occasion, with his father donning a long blue jacket, jeans, and a black sweater. His mother opted for a black blazer and matching pants. She completed her look with a patterned blouse.

Jake, 43, kept things simple with a black suit, adding a pop of color with a yellow tie. Cadieu, 28,  followed suit and put her own spin on a head-to-toe black ensemble that featured a top with a plunging neckline.

Road House is a high-powered remake of the 1989 classic of the same name, which starred Patrick Swayze, Sam Elliott and Kelly Lynch.

In the new film directed by Doug Liman, Jake stars as former UFC fighter Elwood Dalton, who works as a bar bouncer at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys. He ultimately channels his fighting days after scaring some of the bar’s unruly customers, however, he and the roadhouse’s owner are forced to take on a group of men who want to take over the property.

Jake detailed how he trained for shirtless scenes in the Prime Video movie, telling PEOPLE at its premiere at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin this month it “took a village.”

Added the star: “I'll tell you that being where I am — 10 years ago I made Southpaw, which is another fight movie, and I was in a different place. My body was, I knew that I needed help with nutrition and I knew I needed to keep myself safe from injury and I needed to also be able to have the aesthetics of the whole role.”

"So balancing all that took a group of people helping me all the time."

He also saluted his “incredible” trainer Jason Walsh and “wonderful” chef Paulette Tejeda, as well as a nutritionist.

Jake previously said he would have loved to get advice from Swayze, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2009. He was 57.

“I knew him to be one of the most generous, kind people that I have met. He was just funny and loving, and all throughout the years, we stayed in contact,” Jake said of Swayze in the spring 2024 Men’s Health digital cover story.
