Jake Gyllenhaal is one proud brother-in-law.

The 42-year-old congratulated his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal's husband Peter Sarsgaard on his best actor win at the 2023 Venice International Film Festival over the weekend for the movie Memory.

Alongside a snap of the star with his award, Jake's tribute read: “Congratulations to my incredible (and incredibly talented) brother in law @gaardsars for winning Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival!"

He added, "Couldn’t be happier for this extraordinary human. Love you brother.”

Maggie, 45, also celebrated her husband of 14 years on Instagram, writing, “My husband @gaardsars won the #volpicup BEST ACTOR at the Venice Film Festival last night. His performance was astonishing. Vulnerable, feet on the ground/heart in the heavens.”
