Jaguars fans send Jadeveon Clowney trash cans to defend Bortles
The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the season’s true surprises, a previously hapless franchise now getting notice as a legit Super Bowl spoiler. But recent stellar play hasn’t erased some longstanding perceptions of the Jags.
Blake Bortles absolutely torched the Houston Texans on Sunday, throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-7 beatdown. But that didn’t stop Houston defensive end Jadeveon Clowney from calling Bortles “trash,” a brutally dismissive shot that rankled newly prideful Jacksonville fans.
Feeling flush with the unfamiliar sensation of pride, Jaguars fans decided to take the battle to Clowney by, well … sending him some actual trash cans:

Bortles, for his part, waved off the criticism. “I could care less,” he said Wednesday. “If how we’re playing and how I’m playing — if that’s ‘trash,’ then I’m fine with being ‘trash.’”
