Jadakiss says Suge Knight once attempted to intimidate him into appearing on a song by using tactics similar to the “mafia.”

During an appearance on Gillie Da Kid and Wallo 267’s Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Kiss gave insight into his dealings with the infamous Death Row Records founder, whom is currently incarcerated on a manslaughter conviction.

He recalled a period during which Knight appeared to be following him around, particularly during promotional runs in the mogul’s home-state of California, a move Kiss says appeared far from coincidental.

“There was a time where he was popping up everywhere I was at. That sh*t was crazy,” the New York native said. “Like, say I had a West Coat trip; I could be anywhere, and he’d just be there. It was like somebody was calling him, telling him everywhere I was at.”

According to Kiss, Knight’s looming presence was due to his desire for The LOX member to contribute a guest verse to a song he was working on, but was seemingly attempting to “force” him to do it. “I think he was trying to get me on a song, but he was doing it a little weird,” he added.

Music Producer Suge Knight (L) and guest host D.L.Hughley appear at CBS Studios for a taping of “The Late Late Show” on November 18, 2004 in Los Angeles, California. Suge Knight gives his take on the incident at this week’s Vibe Awards.

While Kiss says Knight’s alleged course of action failed to yield the result he was aiming for, he could’ve had better success had he approached him in a more professional manner.

“It never happened anyway,” he said of Knight’s request. “He was better off calling somebody saying, ‘Yo, I need Kiss. I got this much money and this is the song.’ He was really trying to Mafia the verse out of me! But that sh*t didn’t work.”
