The Badass Women Memoir Club just inducted a new member.

Jada Pinkett Smith welcomed Britney Spears to the club in celebration of the release of the pop star's memoir The Woman in Me, out now. The actress and talk show host, who recently released her own memoir Worthy, congratulated Spears with a throwback video from when she and her nu metal band Wicked Wisdom toured with the singer during her 2004 Onyx Hotel Tour.

"Welcome to the 'Bad Ass Women Memoir Club,'" Pinkett Smith captioned an Instagram post. "@britneyspears welcomed me to open for her on the Onyx tour with my band Wicked Wisdom with open arms. She was so sweet and supportive. Who knew we would be back on a different stage, sharing our journeys on the page. I can't WAIT to read your book Britney and I'm sending you love on your pub day."

Pinkett Smith formed Wicked Wisdom in 2002 with Pocket Honore, Cameron "Wirm" Graves, Philip "Fish" Fisher, and Rio Lawrence. The band released two albums, 2004's My Story and 2006's Wicked Wisdom, and opened for Spears during her fifth concert tour in promotion of her album In the Zone.

Pinkett Smith's musician daughter Willow, whom she shares with Will Smith, previously reunited the nu metal band as a surprise for the 2021 Mother's Day episode of their Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk. The young Smith performed a cover of the band's song "Bleed All Over Me," much to her mother's delight.

Both of Spears and Pinkett Smith's headline-making memoirs are out now.
