Adrienne Banfield-Norris is defying age!

The Red Table Talk co-host celebrated a milestone birthday on Wednesday, which daughter Jada Pinkett Smith marked with a set of photos from the celebration that included Jada's husband Will Smith and their kids Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22, along with Will's son Trey, 30.

Jada, 52, can be seen hugging her mom in the first two images while family members including Willow, Trey and Will, 55, cheer in the background.

The rest of the snapshots show Banfield-Norris seemingly giving a speech via a microphone as she stands in front of her two-tier red-and-gold cake, attendees clapping and more.

"Gammy turned 70 years young yesterday!!!" Jada wrote in the caption of her Thursday Instagram post. "Gam Bam you look 30! We are going to celebrate all year! I love you!!! Happy Birthday again!😘♥️ @gammynorris."

Banfield-Norris is close with Jada and Willow, having hosted the popular talk show Red Table Talk alongside her daughter and her granddaughter since 2018.

The former nurse has also offered Jada crucial advice over the years. For example, when Jada was 20 years old, she traveled to Italy and almost accepted an invitation from a stranger to go on his boat. Fortunately, she called her mother first to check in about that decision.

Banfield-Norris said on Red Table Talk in 2022 that she told her daughter at the time, “You are not getting on no boat with nobody,” adding, “If something happens to you, nobody's gonna hear you. You're gonna be in the middle of nowhere. Do not — Jada!”

Jada's mother has also stepped in to help with work situations. When Jada starred in the medical drama HawthoRNe, her mother took issue with how medical practices were portrayed on the show — and the medical advisory team changed as a result.

“There were some minor things as far as nursing care and nursing techniques that were off-kilter,” Banfield-Norris told The AFRO in 2010. “I would give [Jada] my suggestions and basically what she did at the end of the season was kind of revamp her medical advisory team.”

Banfield-Norris and her daughter haven’t always had the easiest relationship, though, partly due to her past drug use.

“I had parents who were addicted to drugs," Jada told PEOPLE for a recent cover story surrounding the release of her new memoir, Worthy. “Not having [a healthy] foundation, as I would come to find out way into my adulthood, had some really strong effects in regard to how I saw myself.”

Despite their early struggles, she and Banfield-Norris have developed a close bond today. Jada even posted a loving Instagram tribute to her mom on Mother’s Day 2021.

“Thank you Great Divine for my mother Adrienne,” she wrote. “You blessed me with the PERFECT Mother. She has provided for me … EVERYTHING You intended.”

Worthy is available now wherever books are sold.
