Jada Pinkett Smith Shared a Throwback Photo That Proves She and Her Mom Don’t Age
  • Jada Pinkett Smith shared a "three generational" throwback photo featuring her mom and daughter in honor of Mother's Day.

  • In the photo, Jada and her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris look exactly the same as they do now.

  • The trio celebrated Mother's Day with a special episode of Red Table Talk.

If the term “generational beauty” were in the dictionary, a photo of Jada Pinkett Smith, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and Willow Smith would appear next to it. The grandmother, mother, and daughter trio always look radiantly stunning, proven in a throwback photo that Jada posted of them in honor of Mother’s Day.

The Red Table Talk co-host didn’t disclose the year the photo was taken, but it features a baby Willow, so it’s probably almost 20 years old. “That three generational #throwback for those sweet Mother’s Day vibes❣️,” Jada captioned the post.

“How precious!” one person commented. “Only person who aged is Willow,” another wrote.

The group hosted a special Mother’s Day episode of their talk show on May 5, which featured a surprise gift from Willow to her mom. If you didn’t know, Jada used to be the lead singer of the band Wicked Wisdom, and to honor her, Willow performed one of the band’s songs with some of Jada’s former bandmates.

“When I was, I wanna say about 3 or 4, I went on tour with my mom and her band Wicked Wisdom,” Willow explained. “This is the music that I grew up around. My mother was superwoman, she was a rock star, warrior, and nurturer all in one. So unapologetically badass. She was a rock star, and I was living for Wicked Wisdom.”

The 20-year-old continued: “I felt like it was only right for me to pay homage to a time in her life because she showed me what woman-ing up really is about, so for Mother’s Day, I’m about to reunite with some of my mom’s old band members to do one of my favorite songs by my mom, which is called '’Bleed All Over Me.’

Touched by the gesture, Jada’s eyes immediately filled with tears. “My heart burst in a thousand different ways having my daughter honor me in this way,” she wrote on Instagram. “I love you Willow♥️🙏🏽♥️.” You can watch the full performance below:
