Jacob Tremblay: Smurfs 2 audition blooper is too cute

Watch Jacob Tremblay's adorable audition blooper for 'Smurfs 2'

If you were won over by 10-year-old Jacob Tremblay, wait until you see his 5-year-old self. The Room actor posted a throwback blooper video to Instagram of him practicing for his Smurfs 2 audition before breaking down into a giggle fit.

“Blooper take from my first movie audition taped by my Mom & Dad! Try not to laugh… I couldn’t!” he wrote.

Tremblay ended up landing the part of Blue, the son of Patrick (Neil Patrick Harris) and Grace (Jayma Mays) in Smurfs 2. Hank Azaria and Brendan Gleeson also featured.

The film came out in 2013, two years before the release of Room, which propelled Tremblay to Hollywood (and internet) stardom. He’ll next be seen in the horror movie Shut In with Naomie Watts and the equally creepy Before I Wake with Thomas Jane.

See Tremblay before he was famous in the video below.
