Jacky Oh’s Cause Of Death Revealed, No Criminal Investigation To Follow
Jacky Oh’s cause of death has been revealed after the 32-year-old suddenly passed away in June. According to Page Six, the mother of three died from cosmetic surgery complications. The tabloid reported the model, née Jacklyn Smith, traveled to Miami in May 2023 to have a “gluteal augmentation procedure” before her tragic death.
Smith was allegedly prescribed Ciprofloxacin (an antibiotic), Oxycodone (a painkiller), and Ondansetron (anti-nausea) after the procedure. Following the operation, Smith experienced a headache and was advised to take ibuprofen instead of the anti-nausea medication.
The following day, the former Wild ‘N’ Out girl “began to feel like her head was burning” and also experienced difficulty speaking according to the report. Autopsy findings reveal that Smith had swelling in her brain and excessive bleeding of the skin around her torso. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s investigations report ruled the manner of death an accident.
TMZ reported that the doctor who operated on her won’t be charged with any crimes and no criminal investigation will take place due to the death not being ruled a homicide.
“I wasn’t in no rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of [reality] so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner,” wrote Smith’s romantic partner, comedian DC Young Fly after her passing. “You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful Yu always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!”
Together, the couple shared three children, Nova, Nala, and Prince’Nehemiah. In August, the House Party actor revealed a tattoo in Smith’s honor. “We in this together and forever !!! My Angel my baby my wife the Queen of my children,” detailed the 31-year-old in the emotional caption.
