Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, just made a move on Kayla Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Kelce and Nicole dated on and off for five years, but Kelce confirmed that he was single in early 2023, just shortly before he began dating pop icon Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole, posted a photo of her wearing a backless mini dress on Instagram, to which Jackson Mahomes commented “THAT GIRL,” along with a fire emoji.

Mahomes also commented on Kayla Nicole's open letter about backlash she has faced since Kelce began dating Taylor Swift. “It’s always been really important for me to use my platform, not to create division, but to elevate and unite women, Black women specifically,” Nicole said in a video shared to her social media.

“Dear Black girl, they may call you a traitor for falling in love. You’ll hope the ones closest will protect you, but you will quickly find out that people don’t protect what they don’t value,” Nicole added. “They’ll say you’re too much, too provocative, too boisterous, too outspoken, and in the same breath, tell you that you aren’t enough. They’ll say you deserve the backlash and embarrassment. Because of your Blackness, you should have known better.”

Jackson Mahomes expressed his support by commenting three black heart emojis on the post.

In the video, Nicole went on to talk about how everyone has value and how no one is alone. “You don’t have to participate in this tumultuous, often one-sided journey," she said.

“My truth, trauma, and vulnerability are a relatable part of the human experience,” she added. “I know I’m not alone and I want to make sure you know that you’re not either. On days when I feel most inadequate, I have to remind myself that I am, have been, and will always be more than enough.”

The Mahomes and Kelce drama continued when Kayla Nicole unfollowed Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Patrick Mahomes and sister-in-law to Jackson Mahomes.

Kayla Nicole and Brittany Mahomes remained close friends despite ending her relationship with Travis Kelce in 2022. However, it seems that the closer Brittany Mahomes gets to Kelce's new (rumored) girlfriend, Taylor Swift, the further Nicole is drifting from the quarterback’s wife.

Brittany Mahomes has been seen hanging out with Taylor Swif on multiple occasions, including in a suite at MetLife Stadium for “Sunday Night Football” and grabbing dinner together in New York City.

The Blast reported a few weeks ago that Kayla Nicole unfollowed Brittany Mahomes on Instagram. Plus, previous posts have been “un-liked” by Nicole’s account. This has been shocking for many as Nicole and Mahomes were extremely close — with Nicole even being a bridesmaid for the Mahomes’ wedding in March 2022.

Maya Benberry dated the Kansas City Chiefs player for a few months in 2016 after winning his E! reality dating show, “Catching Kelce.” Shortly after it was rumored that Kelce and Swift were dating, Benberry spoke out, warning the "Bad Blood" singer, claiming that “the man [she] knew him to be when [they] dated” is an unfaithful one.

“Taylor [Swift] seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!” Benberry, 31, told DailyMail. “I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is there for her — and who is just using her.”
