Watch Jack White Cover Bob Dylan, Play White Stripes’ Songs at Bernie Sanders Rally in Detroit

Jack White joined Democratic presidential hopeful and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders as well as U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib during a rally in Detroit earlier today (October 27). Before the rally began, White performed a live set that included a cover of Bob Dylan’s Infidels track “License to Kill,” in addition to a selection of White Stripes songs, as Stereogum points out. Watch clips of White performing “License to Kill,” “Seven Nation Army,” “We’re Going to be Friends,” and “Icky Thump” below.

The concert was held in the gymnasium of Detroit’s Cass Technical High School, where White attended. The event was organized with the hopes of fighting for “economic, environmental and racial justice,” according to a press release.
