Jack Hanna Accidentally Knocks Over Bucket of Bugs on ‘Late Late Show’

Jack Hanna brought some animals to The Late Late Show With James Corden Thursday night and almost let some giant insects get away. Jack had brought out a bucket of Madagascar hissing cockroaches and put a few of the insects on James. Jack tried to get fellow guest Making History star Adam Pally to hold some as well, but he was not having it.

After Jack put the cockroaches back in the bucket, he set the bucket on the floor and reached behind the couch to grab another animal friend. When he did that, Jack’s foot kicked over the bucket of cockroaches. Adam, who had already announced that he didn’t trust animals, immediately jumped up and yelled at Jack to pick up the bucket. Jack quickly grabbed the bucket and picked up a cockroach that had escaped.

The event was unsettling for Adam, although, to be fair, he was unsettled the entire time the animals were out there. Even when Jack had an adorable sloth onstage, Adam, who is Jewish, joked, “That thing looks anti-Semitic.”

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
