J. K. Simmons looks back on working with Elliot Page in 'Juno'

J. K. Simmons, who played the dad to Elliot Page in the hit 2007 film, Juno, talks to Yahoo Entertainment about what it was like to work with the actor.

- The best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are.

KEVIN POLOWY: One of your most famous film roles, of course-- father roles, I should say, came in Juno, which was such a memorable turn. Elliot Page has really come and put himself out there, and become a hero to so many. Are you still in touch with Elliot? Can you say anything about your relationship?

- I'm not. And I haven't-- and, that's not-- I had an awesome time working on Juno, and Elliot's been one of my favorite actors to watch since then. And a wonderful actor to work with. But honestly, I'm kind of a go to work and go home kind of a guy. So I don't stay in touch with many people from work. Most of my friends are people I've known since 1975.

So, yeah, it's been great to watch that happen and to watch Elliot become this, already iconic, but now iconic in a new way. And being a positive influence for a lot of people.

Juno, I'm coming with you to meet this adoption couple. You're just a kid, I don't want you to get ripped off by a couple of baby starved wingnuts.
